MEET THE MAKERS
Forest Nymphs Vegan Bath and Body is a family owned business founded by Silvana Marroche in the summer of 2000. After her then 6 year-old son experienced a skin break out from using a well-known commercial bath soap, she used handmade clean skin products to heal his skin.
Created in her home kitchen in Long Beach, California, with the practice of Phytotherapy that has been in her family for generations (which means using extracts of natural origin as medicines or health-promoting agents). Creating mixes and blends of oils, bath salts and more for her clients became a very important part of Silvana’s practice.
With a degree in Psychology and a passion for the healing arts and beauty care Silvana spent 7 years as counter manager for Lancôme, Dior, Chanel and Biotherm. She also spent 10 years managing a Dermatology and Plastic Surgery practice, and then became a certified and licensed Holistic Massage Therapist and Aromatherapist.
A fun fact about Silvana: As Massage Therapist her long list of clients included legendary and A list musicians. Her healing hands eased the muscle pains and stresses of celebs such as Kenny Loggins, Iron Maiden, Journey, Styx, REO Speedwagon, Foreigner, Matchbox20, Rob Thomas, Weezer, Sublime, With a Rome, Black Keys; Linkin Park, Disturbed, Godsmack, Pink Floyd, Alicia Keys, Alice in Chains, Def Leppard,Blink 182, Lady Antebellum, Luke Bryan, Raskal Flats; Lover Boy, Randy Houser, Toby Keith, Taylor Swift, Kid Cudi and many more.
